Our research group has a long standing expertise in the analysis of polyphenolics and processed food using a variety of analytical methods.
Commercial analysis:
On request we carry out commercial analysis offering the following services:
- Profiling and quantification of chlorogenic acids by LC-MS and LC-UV
- Profiling and quantification of flavonoids by LC-MS
- Profiling and structure elucidation of natural polyphenolics from plant extracts using database searches (our in-house polyphenol database contains over 500 entries based on authentic reference materials)
- Chemical profiling of processed food based on high resolution mass spectrometry
- Antioxidant assays (Folin, ORAC, ABTS, DPPH)
- Profiling of lipids (Both FAME by GC-FID and TAG and DAG by LC-MS methods)
- Multivariant statistical analysis of LC-MS data including method development
